Access Edge browser settings using the search bar

Follow the given steps to access Edge settings:

5.From the menu and click on the setting button.

6. Tap to choose what to clear button from the clean browsing data section.

7.Choose cookies, browsing history, cached data, and saved website data, download history checkboxes.

Update your OS

Sometimes the error can appear when your device is running on an outdated Operating System. Your operating system needs to be up to date in an account to keep all the systems secure from all the threats. Click on the Start button and hit the Settings buttons. Select the Update and Security option. If your device is up to date then you will get the confirmation on the screen. If not, click on Check for Updates option and the Windows update will start downloading on your device. Wait until Windows gets fully updated. Now restart the Windows 10 PC to apply the changes. 2.Type run and hit the enter button.

3.Windows run wizard will appear.

4.Type cmd on the run bar.

5.Press the enter button.

6.The command screen appears.

7.Now type SFC/scan now on the command screen.

The System File A checker tool will appear and it will start scanning all the Windows files. Wait and follow the on-screen instructions. After restoring all the corrupted Windows files, restart your device, and check whether your error gets fixed or not.

Remove the system junk

The system junk like temporary files can also interrupt your Edge browser. Whenever you get any error while running the browser, remove all the junk files from your PC. You can use the Windows Disk Cleanup tool for removing the junk:

1.Click on the search bar and type run

2.Hit the Enter button

3.The run wizard will be displayed on the screen

4.Type cmd and hit the Enter button

5.Windows command screen will appear

Type clean mgr on your command screen and hit the Enter button

Windows clean manager the tool will appear and it will start checking for all the junk accumulated by your device. Now click on the files you want to remove and hit the Enter button. Restart your Windows 10 PC and check whether the Edge-related error gets removed or not.
